Privacy Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026
This page is maintained by Immanuel Lutheran Church to explain how information is handled on this website. It is written in plain language and describes our current practices.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to the newsletter or contact us, we receive the name and email address you provide, along with any message you send.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and available.
How we use it
We use the information to send the newsletter you requested, respond to your messages, and maintain the website. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to operate the site: our website hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider (for newsletter and notification emails), and embedded services such as YouTube, Facebook, and Google Maps when you view that content. Those providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Messages sent to the church office are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary church records.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and you may ask us to correct or delete the information you have given us by contacting the church office. See our Cookie Policy for cookie choices.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will remove it.
